These teaching focus on practical business skills—specifically understanding Cash Flow and calculating Net Profit. Our integrated FAL approach break them down into simple, usable concepts:
· Cash Flow (The Movement): Learners practiced using their numeracy skills to track every shilling that comes in (sales, loans, income) and every shilling that goes out (seeds, transport, school fees). This is crucial because good cash flow means they can pay for supplies and survive lean periods.
· Net Profit (The True Gain): We taught them the formula: Total Income - Total Expenses = Net Profit. This simple subtraction is a powerful tool. It allows learners to see if their business is truly making money, rather than just confusing sales with actual profit.
