For many of our adult learners, reading technical health information can be a major barrier to care. Our goal wasn't just to check their pressure, but to give them the knowledge and basic skills to understand the results and learners were taught how to: -
- Read the blood pressure Measurement, Understand the safe range so they instantly know when their blood pressure is high or low
- Record their own results to be active managers of their own well-being within their families.
By integrating health education with literacy, NUFOBO is empowering our learners to make informed, life-saving decisions for themselves and their families and also encouraging our learners to always go for checkup regularly
