Held under the uplifting theme “From Dreams to Reality: Celebrating the Journey of Resilience and Triumph,” the ceremony was a joyful and deeply emotional occasion, marking the beginning of new possibilities for the graduates and their communities.
The event was more than a graduation; it was a powerful reminder that literacy is not just about learning to read and write — it’s about opening doors to opportunity, confidence, and independence.

One graduate, Oliva Aloyo, shared her story with heartfelt pride: “Before I joined NUFOBO, I had to use my thumbprint for everything. Now, I can sign my name on school fee receipts and read my children’s report cards. I used to struggle with
English, but with the help of my FAL teacher, I can now communicate with my husband and children in English and keep proper business records. This program didn’t just teach me letters; it gave me back my dignity and control over my life.”

The determination and joy shown by the graduates prove that when adults gain literacy skills, entire families and community’s benefit. Each learner’s success becomes a ripple of change — inspiring others, strengthening households, and shaping a brighter future for
generations to come.
